DIY Cutting Board/Wood Transfer

This was one of my favorite projects! I wanted to do something special for my mom for Christmas and got this idea from @barkershomedesign (on Instagram). The first thing we did was draw out the cutting board shape on a piece of wood, then Niko was able to cut it out with a jigsaw and circular saw. I found old recipes from my grandparents on my mom's side in their handwriting. I used the shiny side of sticker/label paper to print the recipes (in reverse so they'd transfer facing the right way) and then used an old credit card to press the ink into the wood. Just finish off with a spray protectant! The cutting board is just decorative, not for real use so we used this one and just did 3 light coats.
