The Sodini's

Hi! I am Celia Sodini and my husband is Niko Sodini. We have been renovating our home for the past 2 years. We have done almosssttt everything ourselves and it has been so rewarding (also difficult at times!) but so rewarding! I am a full time sales rep for a medical aesthetics company but I have a passion for home improvement and really ANYTHING DIY. It brings me so much peace and happiness. My husband worked construction for years so he is THE GUY doing it all. He recently left his job in medical device sales to stay home with our two boys. He really does hold our entire household together. We are currently living in the greater Detroit area and found a perfect fixer upper. We have a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath colonial on a 1/2 acre lot and it is a work in progress. My hope is that this will inspire someone to do it themselves and know with a little bit of work you CAN have your dream home, even on a budget!

We have a 1975 colonial in the greater Detroit area. We live on a 1/2 acre lot in a beautiful neighborhood. Almost the entire house needed something when we moved in. It sat vacant for months due to being rented prior to us purchasing (my son and I didn't move in for 2 weeks after my husband moved in because it was barely livable!) We have since renovated about 30% of the home and still have works in progress..

We hope to renovate our entire home and stay here forever. We also have plans in the future of a second home in northern Michigan.
